Women for a Sustainable Future (WSF) Online Meeting, 27 March 2024

The Women for a Sustainable Future (WSF) network met online on 27 March to discuss the immense challenges currently faced by women in Gaza. The discussion was led by two Palestinian academics, from Gaza and the West Bank, and the meeting was attended by parliamentarians, senior diplomats and a health expert from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Sweden, Tunisia, the UK and the US.

Discussion focused on the immediate medical and educational challenges faced by women in Gaza and participants emphasised the need for an immediate, sustainable and lasting ceasefire.
