On Wednesday 5 May, participants of the Tunisia Young Leaders Programme convened for a workshop with Mohamed Okda. This workshop built on previous meetings held with Mohamed, and saw participants work together in politically diverse groups to discuss policy reforms that could be enacted to address a range of challenges currently faced in Tunisia.

Their recommendations focused on two major themes: job creation and wealth creation. Participants suggested a range of potential action points, including regulation reform, the development of technology hubs, as well as the digitalisation of administration and the process of setting up a business.

The Tunisia Young Leaders Programme works with young, politically active, Tunisians and tries to help them develop a set of skills and experiences that will support the country’s new democracy.
