High-level meetings in Paris, 6-9 May 2025

On 7 May, we participated in a high-level seminar on the Middle East, Israel, and the Palestinians, hosted by the Collège des Bernardins in Paris. The gathering brought together diplomats, officials, and academics from Europe, the US, and the Gulf-MENA region. Discussions focused on critical issues, including the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the question of Palestinian statehood, and priorities for the joint French-Saudi conference taking place in New York in June.

While in Paris, we convened meetings with key French officials, including the new Director of the Middle East and North Africa department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Middle East and North Africa Advisor to President Emmanuel Macron.
