Forward Thinking hold event on the humanitarian situation in Palestine, 1st February 2017

On February 1^st Forward Thinking held an evening discussion on the humanitarian situation within the Palestinian Territories, marking the launch of a new report – The Palestinian Humanitarian Conference – highlighting the humanitarian challenges confronting Palestinians today. The evening, hosted in Portcullis House by Dr Philippa Whitford MP,  brought together a number of prominent speakers with direct experiences of the challenges affecting Palestinians today, including: Medical Aid for Palestinians; Interpal; Ideals; and Sir Jeremy Greenstock, the former UK Ambassador to the UN. Discussions reflected on the Palestinian Humanitarian Conference’s findings and examined the tension between humanitarian and political responses to the situation in the Palestinian Territories.
