Webinar for Gazan educators on curriculum planning and implementation, 28 January 2025

On 28 January, we held the first in a planned series of webinars for a cohort of 50 Gazan educators, selected by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Ramallah. This webinar focused on curriculum planning and implementation. It was delivered by Ms Lesley Emerson, a specialist in curriculum planning and design, from Queen’s University Belfast.

This series of online seminars will focus on the Ministry’s two priority areas: open-source curriculum development, and trauma-informed pedagogy and practice. These webinars constitute an essential part of our wider education project and will form an important resource for Gazan teachers operating in an extremely low-resource environment. They will be delivered by a pool of experts from Queen’s University Belfast and St Mary’s University College Belfast.
