South Africa Visit September 2023

In September 2023, Forward Thinking facilitated meetings in South Africa between a delegation of Palestinian academics from the House of Wisdom, and senior South African political leaders and negotiators who were involved in South Africa’s transition from apartheid to constitutional democracy. These meetings provided an opportunity to share experiences and lessons from the process of negotiation and transformation in South Africa. This visit was organised in collaboration with In-Transformation Initiative (ITI) . It was organised as a follow up to the visit of Roelf Meyer and Mohammed Bhabha, Co-Directors of ITI, to the Occupied Palestine Territories in November 2022.
