Annual Report 2025

Forward Thinking’s Annual Report 2025 summarises our activities over the past year across our three main programmes: the Middle East Programme, the Women for a Sustainable Future (WSF) Network Programme, and the UK programme. The report includes analysis from our Director, Oliver McTernan, Sir Jeremy Greenstock, and Hoda Al-Helaissi. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported our work throughout 2025.

Below is a message from our Chairman William Sieghart OBE:

It’s been another bleak and challenging year in the world of conflict mediation. The Middle East region has seen more violence and bloodshed on a daily basis. On behalf of all of our trustees, I’d like to thank the Forward Thinking team for their continued dedication and commitment. It’s always challenging to operate under such pressure, and to be dealing with so much anguish and uncertainty makes their work as hard as it’s ever been. I’d also like to thank our funders and supporters for their continued support. Without their backing we couldn’t achieve any of our objectives in such difficult times, and we are immensely grateful for their help.
