Helsinki Policy Forum Energy, Environmental and Economy Working Group Meeting in Muscat, 12 October

The Helsinki Policy Forum Energy, Environment and Economy Working Group met in Muscat, Oman on the 12th of October. Officials and experts from Finland, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye participated. Discussion was focused on identifying ways in which Gulf-MENA countries could cooperate to tackle and minimise the impacts of sand and dust storms, desertification, and water scarcity in the region.
