Annual Report 2016-17

Our Annual Report 2016-17 outlines our activities across our programmes for that period. Below is a message from our Chairman, William Sieghart CBE:

Another challenging year for Forward Thinking has been dominated in the UK by the disaster at Grenfell Tower. Forward Thinking's reputation as mediators and facilitators of purpose-driven dialogue in Britain, as well as in Israel/Palestine, Tunisia, and Libya, led to a request for us to work with the survivors and help them form their own association.

This is an example of what Forward Thinking does best: responding to demand-driven need, helping communities back on their feet and engaging with government at all levels to try and resolve the many difficulties that such a crisis creates.

Whether in Gaza, Irbil or Notting Hill, Oliver McTernan and his remarkable team have toiled ceaselessly in the cause of resolving conflict and helping those in need. My fellow trustees are grateful and proud of their astonishing commitment.
